DH-17 Blaster A New Hope

DH-17 Blaster After much unsuccessful searching for a readily available version of this blaster I decided to have a go at creating one myself on Tinkercad. Go easy on me, this is the first thing I have created from scratch... After a bit of research I decided to make an idealised version of the original blaster as used by the crew of Tantive IV at the beginning of A New Hope. I believe that the blasters used in the films were all resin casts of a Sterling L2 and may have been slightly smaller due to this process. For ease, I opted to make it full size based on a 38.1mm receiver barrel. Anyone wishing to create a smaller version could always print at less than 100% scale. There are very few useable reference images so some parts are just my interpretation. In the spirit of openess I will confess that due to my lack of experience I used/altered a few parts from SMG E-11 Blaster Grip With knurling CORRECT SIZE by MontagueFlange. I used unaltered the full point Scope: RT-97C, DH-17, EC-17, A280, DLT-20A Blasters by Straeker so havent included those files at all. I have added alignment pins and holes as best I could. The only part that should need lining up by eye are the two halves of the receiver. Please note, the photos of my build are missing the front cone of the scope as I intend to obtain a clear one as per the original props. EDIT, I've changed the optional front greeblie for one with a flat bottom. The original one was curved but it should be flat as it sits on the scope rail. Also, if any of the alignment pins won't fit in the corresponding hole just reprint at a smaller scale (98 or 99%)
