I decided I wanted my Harbor Freight/Pittsburgh 1" Digital Dial Indicator to face forward for easy readings, so I designed this to include 4 small magnets to hold it to the X carriage shafts. I also wanted it to bolt securely to the rear mount bracket for accurate readings. It uses magnets you can pick up at home Depot for a total of $3.00 for a pack of six (you only need 4). They are .470" x .110" (12mm x 3.00 mm) super magnets. Instructions I printed mine with PLA, at .200 layer height, with .5 infill. It is designed using inventor (I included the IPT files as well) but it is in English (inches). You will need to scale it to 25.4 in repeater host
