Diamond Apple Mold

A mold to bolt around a growing apple to (hopefully) produce a diamond-shaped apple! Will it work? Who knows! It sure would be cool if someone tried it and posted the result. It will likely need to be scaled depending on the tree... The widest part of the inner diamond here is 7cm (STL units in mm). I know sunlight won't hit the fruit with this on, but I've read that it doesn't affect the fruit's size. It may affect the taste a bit due to malic acid distribution. It might even taste better! Instructions Disclaimer: I barely know what I'm talking about here... Print two. Take them to the hardware store to find bolts and nuts that will fit. Bolt it around a growing apple. Keep an eye on the other apples to judge when it's ready. Remove the mold to reveal a perfectly formed diamond-shaped apple! (...) Let me know how it goes! :D
