This diamond sword was a great way to get my daughter excited about 3D printing. These are great for kids parties or giveaways as well, because you can print them off fast. The models are for half of the bookmark which you glue the two bed sides together at the handle and hilt leaving the blade to go over the page to bookmark. The included 3mf file also shows how the slicing settings are important on this one to help get a nice finish on the blade while keeping the thickness very minimal. This is also helped by keeping the layer height to 0.15mm. Even more fun with a small amount of acrylic paint and the kids can paint their swords to be more true to the original. Note if painting be sure to paint the top of both sides and let dry before gluing the two halves together. You can use PLA instead of PETG, but my daughter tends to leave books in the car which can get hot and PETG holds its shape a bit better.
