diaper genie jaw post

We have a Diaper Genie Elite that is from about 2013, the tall one. It has two jaws that open/close when you step on the foot piece. Many moons ago (i.e. first kid) , a post on one of the jaws broke so only one side would open. The jaws are symmetrical, so I flipped it around to the other side. Then a year or so later another post broke, back to one side but who cares kid is almost out of diapers anyways. Along comes new kid in 2018, and I decide I should fix it so we don't waste $50 on a new one when that money could be better spent on 3d printing. I toyed with modelling the whole jaw, but I'm lazy and suck at cad. Since there is so much room in the diaper genie, I printed just the post with a little extra material on the back, drilled a whole where the broken post used to be (made it a tight fit), put a drop of glue and shoved the new post in the hole. It is a very uninteresting design, but I'm in a sharing mood for some old designs I have laying around. If I think of it sometime when I'm taking the bag out, I'll take a picture, too stinky to do it otherwise ;-)
