Here is a Dice Cup for use in Seattle Pacific Universities “universal platform” adapter for prosthetic devices. The adapter is an octagonal base that can be used as the platform for holding all sorts of things easily. This particular application is for a dice game cup such as D&D, or Yahtzee.
