Diffuser for Adafruit NeoPixel Ring 12 Leds Fitting

This is a diffuser for the 12 LED Adafruit NeoPixel. It is specifically made to press fit on top of the Adafruit NeoPixel Ring 12 Leds Fitting - http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:424381 For my application (light painting) I am setting all the pixels to the same color and want to create a single color diffused light. Printed in a clear PLA filament that comes out a clear, whitish color. I used some sandpaper to rough up the outside and inside of the circular top. I've also added a few layers of wax paper inside to help out. The original file is about 7mm tall and had the "lens" too close to the pixels. The v2 file is about 23mm tall and does a much better job. Update: The original files have cutouts on the side meant to feed wires through. I just added a couple more versions that do not have the cutouts. Instead, if you are using the fitting (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:424381) you could feed wires through the center, depending on your application. These files are 7mm and 12mm tall. I am using them on capacitive touch lamp with "light shows".
