Digital Clock

thingiverse

This is a digital clock enclosure for a Max7219 4x8x8 dot matrix. In this project I combined it with a Wemos D1 Mini, but other micro controllers can also be used with this case as their is more room than required in the enclosure. I personally designed this as a clock that works on WiFi to show the correct time. This is of course not a requirement for it to work. This enclosure could also be used as just a way to enclose a Max7219 display with a micro controller to be used for different means than a clock. A NodeMCU or an Arduino Nano with ESP8266 shield can also be used. The lid provides a small hole for easy installation of a reset button for the micro controller. I printed with 40% infill on both the enclosure as the lid for added strength (since the walls are not that thick) I think it would still work perfectly with a smaller amount of infill. Please let me know if you like it or your feedback! CODE: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1cBPUl9tztSOoEt1IL99C2vWOICdgKlcq (Developed for Wemos D1 Mini)
