Digital Gauge Housing

Version 2: Hi there, As promised, an updated version that includes a dust cap and "U" shaped extension that will fit with the cover that I am also designing. Warning: The dust cap and the extension overhung a little so good support is needed. I printed it with ABS and the supports generated by simplify3D were not good enough, the dust cap had a good amount of warping (add extra or customise your own with Meshmixer). I designed this Digital Gauge Housing to go with the clip holder designed by 1bigpig as I cannot attach the ring's round metal plate to the back of my instrument.http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1445744 Edit: The housing will allow you to attach both, the round plate and the gauge, in the housing (it will fit like a globe if your instrument has a diameter of 57mm). Update: Hey guys, I am currently redesigning the housing. I am adding a 'dust cap' and extra protection for the pin. I'll be publishing soon. I took a few measurements and I used 123D to design the piece. The housing has: . 58mm of internal diameter. . 75mm of external diameter. . Two 8.2mm holes for the measuring pin.
