Digital RPM for Mini Lathe Sieg C2 Rotwerk EDM 300

This is a housing for a digital speed display as it is sold very cheaply on ebay. For an example of this, look for item number "303568239175". I designed this project because the commercially available speed indicator is around 150 euros. My costs for this project were only about 12 euros for the tachometer and a few euros for the cable, battery and a rocker switch. Many people use this mini lathe of the type "Sieg C2" (mine is a Rotwerk EDM 300), but even machines from many other manufacturers like Einhell are absolutely identical. For everyone interested: "https://grabcad.com/library/mini-lathe-cx704-1" So it was very helpful to construct and it is absolutely the same as my Rotwerk, for example. Please note that parts of the lathe must be changed (see pictures). The rear cover must be cut out once and a small cutout must also be made on the part made of die-cast zinc that carries the reversible heart. The magnet for the sensor must be in the black plastic sleeve on the back of the spindle (after the gear, see picture attached). I dismantled the sleeve and made an approx. 2mm deep flat countersink using an end mill with a diameter of 10mm. I attached it to the headstock of the lathe with double-sided adhesive tape, but Velcro tape, for example, would also be possible here. The speed indicator gets its energy from a 9V block battery, which can be easily exchanged at the back via a separate flap. There is also a small on / off switch from reichelt.de (article: "RND 210-00549") so that the battery is saved when not in use.
