Digital Spool Holder (with Scale)

Digital Spool Holder (with Scale)

This is my DIY filament holder with an integrated scale for my 3D printer, using arduino, a load cell and an OLED display. Instructions: https://www.instructables.com/Digital-Spool-Holder-with-Scale/ Video: https://youtu.be/WO-hR7okl3k I recommend printing everything in PETG, and not PLA. The reason is that when PLA is under constan tension, the part beds permanently over time. We need a material that can stand been under tension without deforming, and PETG is very good for that. You can use other materials too if they also can resist deformation. Just don't use PLA because the screws are going to get loose over time, and even the entire holder could deform for been under constant tension from the weight of the filament spool. You got warned.
