I re-ran the scan using my newly re-calibrated machine, then popped into the local thrift store and snagged an old bear for a buck. This peculiar relic was crafted from what appeared to be terracotta or stoneware, but I suspect it might've been fashioned from some other material altogether. The first coat of matt white spray paint gave it a most appealing finish - a refreshing sight in the realm of 3D scanning!
