5 Degree Of Freedom camera mount for Digoo DG-M1Q. Arm can be adapted for any other cameras (Fusion 360 design can be found here: http://a360.co/2vAN0JS). It's meant to attach camera to aluminum extrusion that can fit M4 square nut (i.e. CR-10).
Following fasteners recommended for assembly:
- M4 square nut - M4 x 16 mm machine screw - M4 x 12 mm machine screw - M4 x 20 mm machine screw - M4 x 30 mm machine screw - M4 hex Nut - 3 x M4 Thumb Nuts (regular hex nuts can be used instead)
Assembly
Assembly is pretty straight forward. - Insert M4x16 screw into "frame mount" and attach M4 square nut slightly just so it stays on very end of the screw. - Attach "Frame Mount" to "Bracket A" with M4x30 screw and M4 thumb nut - Insert M4 hex nut into "Bracket B" recess (use pliers in needed) and attach to "Bracket A" using M4x12mm screw - Attach "Bracket C" to "Bracket B" with M4x20 screw and M4 thumb nut - Carefully insert camera body into camera mount. Try not to break it's fragile brackets. - Attach "camera mount" to "Bracket C" with M4x25mm screw and M4 thumb nut - Finally insert M4 square nut (wiggle it) into aluminum extrusion on your printer where it won't interfere with moving parts and screw in M4x16mm screw until it's secure. - Adjust all pivots until camera is pointed where you want it and tighten thumb screws. All parts other than camera mount were printed in PLA. I recommend printing camera mount in some strong and not too rigid filament (i.e. PETG) as two alms holding camera might break when camera is inserted. Also please flip "camera_mount.stl" cause it's upside-down :)
