Dimensional Accuracy Test

Dimensional Accuracy Test

Simple and quick to print dimensional accuracy test model. The two pieces should fit together snugly, all the way and should be able to come apart with some effort. It can be used to check dimensional compatibility of different printers as well: Print a set from each printer and try to cross-fit them. Most slicers have a setting to adjust the dimensional accuracy. In Cura, this is under Shell -> Horizontal Expansion. Negative values if too tight. Positive if too loose. For most of my printers the right value has been between -0.05 to -0.15
