The dimensions of the rings of circular cross-section can be determined using a caliper or using a special cone - ring gauge. We will use 3 cones for measurements: -small 5-35 mm (24.35 cm3); -medium 35-65 mm (57.74 cm3); -large 66-95 mm (93.44 cm3). Purpose: determination of the inner diameter of rings from 5 to 95 mm in diameter in increments of 1 mm. Application: used as a measuring tool, for quick sorting or rejection of rings by inner diameter
