din dash pocket

We got new phones (s22 ultra) this year and my wife likes a wallet case. So the dash pocket in our NB Miata was just too small and the commerical dash pockets just don't seem to be any larger than what i already had. So i took the one I had and tried 3d scanning but did not work out very well. It has multiple parts and heat has taken it's toll in warping them. So scanning warped parts was just not going very well. So I found a design on thingiverse and modified it, I integrated the clips to hold it in from my Scosche dash pocket. I enlarged it to the max dimensions, then carved out the trim ring and added the locator pin on the back (go ahead and trim it off if you want.) it fits her phone and it fits the dash nicely as well. I'm reprinting the airbag dash pocket in the same chocolate brown so it won't have so many different shades of brown there. I might try scanning and printing the radio bezel as well. I printed this face down. and I placed it so that the bridging would be across the short side. This made it turn out very nice and the bridging itself is pretty much hidden. I supported the clips, I did not support the bridge. way too much waste. This object was made in Tinkercad. Edit it online https://www.tinkercad.com/things/7E5zbgzO4zj
