Dip Pen and Nib Holders

Dip Pen and Nib Holders

thingiverse

This thing is a very fiddly print, and probably not really worth the effort, but if you want it, go for it. I got a set of Tachikawa comic pen nibs recently, but no nib holder. Tachikawa nib holders can be had for around $6 on Jetpens or Amazon and probably work a lot better than this. That said, this thing was an interesting exercise in designing and printing threaded parts. The interchangeable nib holders each hold a single nib semipermanently. They screw into the end of the pen body for use. The Tachikawa nibs come in two sizes, nominally but I found that the G nib and the Saji/Spoon nib were slightly thicker than the Nihonji and School nibs, so they required a slightly different cutout in the holder.
