Diplo duct and BeMeGe extruder remixed to be used with a Mosquito hotend clone on Aquila Disclaimer: - This project was absolutely meant to be an educational one for me, to test my own skills and learn new ones. - I've decided to include Fusion360 sources for anyone who wish to learn the idea behind the project deeper, but be notified they are a complete mess. I use Fusion 360 for about a month now and it's only an after-job hobby - I'm sharing this one for anyone who is curious to learn about solution I've come up with Ok, what was this project about: I have Voxelab Aquila X2 and I was not satisfied with the stock hotend (even after a ptfe tubing fix and changing ptfe to a blue one). I've tried CR-10 all-metal clone hotend first, but it was clogging even more than a stock one. Then, I was able to get a Mosquito hotend clone. I was buying all locally, hence - that was all that was available. The issue with a mosquito clone is that it is not easily installable on the most of the Ender3/Aquila ducts which utilize 40x40x20mm fans. Diplo duct was the only one which was potentially possible to use in my case. Problems with a stock Diplo duct I was considered about: unoptimal hotend cooling flow part of the hotend cooling airflow reaching the hot block and model itself different hotend offset I believe I was able to fix all, and, in the process of doing so, I've come to an interesting BMG extruder solution, which you can see on photos. What else is important with the hotend cooling air flow: I was able to direct the air flow through the radiator exclusively without leaking around sides. Tests show it is very effective: I can feel the airflow from the radiator behind the carriage very well now.
