This is an direct drive mount that I designed for ender 3 and similar carriage design 3d printers. It supports e3d v6(doesn't matter wheter you have bowden or direct version, both will fit), bmg and titan extruders, 4010 hotend cooling fan(stock size), 5015 blower. I reccomend using it with pancake steppper motor, however if you're using titan extruder, stepper motor taken from x or y axis(34mm one) can fit without limiting print volume in z axis. Whole thing was tested by me before uploading. Google drive link where i will be uploading pictures of prints: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-dBsSbWWrOslfEMaPrqpeXRqvr7W0Gc1?usp=sharing Features of my design: -Solid hold of hotend, screws goes into m3 brass insert or nut, -Visible nozzle with easy access to change it, -Suitable for stock size hotend fan, -Hotend fan is not blowing to print aera(important when printing abs etc), -5015 blower, Part list: -e3d v6, -bmg/titan, -5015 blower, -optional pancake motor(stock or taken from x/y may limit print area but it will work) -stock screws, Additional parts: -2x m3x20 for hotend mount, -2x m3x8 or shorter for base2 a and b connection, -2x m3x10 or shorter for fan duct (those you can take from 4010 fan mount, 2 on fan will do) Assembly: Before screwing everything together on printer it's good to screw firstly screws of hotend mount, base2a & b, and fan duct & base2a since you need to make straight threads in plastic. You can also file down a bit bottom of fan duct, it's 1,2mm thick for easier printing. After that you can start by taking off curent mount. 1) Then insert brass inserts or nuts into Base1, put it on x carriage and screw it using stock screws. 2) Next goes e3d v6 and Base2A, use m3x20 screws to secure hotend in place. 3) After that put Base2B into it's place, screw to Base2B with 2 m3x8 or shorter screw (don't go too tight!), Place PTFE tube into hotend(idk exact length but it's easy to check) 4) place 4010 hotend fan. 5) Install extruder with its spacer and stepper motor. 6) Finally screw fan duct to base2a using m3x10 screw, there is some place for regulations, 7) Push 5015 blower into fan duct, should fit tight, 8) Do some cabble managment 9) Let me know if you have any problems or suggestions to my design, Link to presented spiral tower https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-spiral-tower-27689 If you enjoyed my design please consider sending me a tip :)))
