Disc Golf LED/Battery Holder (For Glow Rounds)

An LED/Battery holder to store your Glow Round LED's. Keeps the LED and battery setup and ready to go. Also keeps the LED from accidentally staying lit and/or shorting to other LED's or batteries. The LED's are 3mm, and batteries are 2025 button cells. LED's are a great way to light your disc for glow rounds. Glow disks just don't seem to glow for long, and you are lucky to even find them after your first throw. LED's are much easier to see in flight and when on the ground. You mount the LED assembly to the disc using clear tape. Use a translucent disc and mount the LED/battery in the middle on the underside. If you want to use an opaque disc, then mount one on each side. The best tape is either Gorilla clear duct tape or Frost King Weather Seal tape (clear). Each assembly weighs 2 grams. You take an LED, straddle the leads over the battery, then stick the LED to the battery using one of those little round stickers you would use for garage or yard sale pricing. The stickers fit perfectly. When you tape the assembly to the disc, put the round sticker side next to the disc, and the clear tape over the non sticker side of the LED/battery. This will avoid pulling the sticker off the battery when removing it from the disc. My LED's came from an eBay seller - search for "26 LED Disc Golf Lights". I had the garage sale stickers on hand, and the project box to hold them I found at Dollar Tree. If you buy batteries from Amazon just watch out for fake batteries. I got extra Sony batteries from First Choice Online that are legit and have a use by date 9 years out.
