I created this as there was not yet a version of this kind of dish on Thingverse. This is the basic dish shape. Do NOT expect this to be waterproof if printing in normal FDM (printers that use filament). It's always handy to have and extra food bowl hanging around, especially since you can print in fun colors and offer a more varied and stimulating daily routine. This was printed with support material, due to the overhang that holds the bowl in place, there's really no way to print this without material, there's not a foundation to bridge across (bridging is a 3D printing technical term, it means where you make an overhang without support by making a line of material between two points and cooling it fast enough so that it makes a stright base for the next layer). This is not appropriate for larger birds or very chew-crazy birds who would quickly decimate the bowl. Loose filament peeled off the print could be an entanglement hazed so if you are using custom settings, make sure you are getting GOOD adhesion between layers.
