Dish scrubber holder

Dish scrubber holder

We used to keep our kitchen scrubber in a shallow dish next to the sink. My wife didn't like how it could sit in a little puddle of water if it hadn't been wrung out thoroughly, so she swapped out the dish for a binder clip. I absolutely despise the binder clip. It worked great for standing up the scrubber and letting water drain out of it, but it was a pain to put on and I was just opposed to the general idea of a binder clip as a sponge holder. Printer to the rescue! This little dish sets the kitchen scrubber above the bottom of the dish so water can drop down into the tray, letting the scrubber dry and avoid growing nasty bacteria. If there's considerable drippage, the honeycomb patterned shelf lifts off and the tray can be poured out and/or cleaned. This may serve well as a soap tray, too. Let your domestic imagination run wild and be sure to share by posting your make. Print Settings Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: TAZ 6 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2 Infill: 25% Notes: My test piece printed fine at .3 as well. I'm embarrassed to point out that my final version depicted in the photos was printed with overly aggressive retraction settings and part of the tray suffered for it. I guarantee quality finished result with quality printer and settings :)
