vertical dish storage
I remixed it to hold 8 plates in the same amount of space.http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:688210

Instructions
This is a dish stand or holder.
It will hold up to 6 dishes. (The remix holds 8 dishes: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:688210)
The dishes shown are the rather common 8.5 inch Corelle plates.
I haven't tried other sizes. I'm confident the stand might be scaled up, down, or perhaps widened to fit other sizes.
Although small and narrow, the stand is very stable. The plates cannot tip forward far enough to tip it and/or fall out.
It might be used as a stand to air dry dishes, or for dish storage in a cupboard or on a shelf.
I forget the exact details but it was about 100 minute print and used ~65 grams ABS.
Normal speed, thick 0.4mm layers, and minimum fill.
It just barely fits on the Afinia (5.5x5.5") build platform.
A Metric version is included.
