This is a simple dishwasher status that sits on the top edge of the door. It was designed for a door thickness of 44.40mm, but I have attached the f3d file, so you can modify to suit yours if needed. It tucks under the counter when the door is closed, so no need to remove it. It also stays on when the door is fully open.
