Dishwasher Door Prop Opener

Dishwasher Door Prop Opener

thingiverse

My dishwasher doesn't dry the dishes very well, I end up with puddles of water on top of coffee mugs. If I leave the door open, the water evaporates when I am away at work, and when I am back, everything is nice and dry. However, I don't want to leave the dishwasher door fully open, cause then dust will blow in. So I thought I'd make a little dishwasher door prop opener :-) The clip opening is 23.5mm wide, that's the height of the top lip of my dishwasher. The part above the clip is 13.5mm high, that's the gap between the top of my dishwasher and the bottom of the counter top. Instructions I sliced it with Slic3r, printed it with my Craftbot. Settings below: white cheap PLA, 210 C extruder / 60 C bed 0.2 mm layer height 100% first layer height 3 vertical shells, 3 layer top/bottoms 20% honeycomb infill rectilinear top/bottom shells 50 mm/s perimeters 15 mm/s small perimeters 50% external perimeters 50 mm/s infill 20 mm/s solid infill 15 mm/s top solid infill 90 mm/s travel 30 mm/s first layer speed 50% first layer extrusion width (all others 0 in advanced screen) 15% infill/perimeter overlay It took about 1.5 hr to print, fits first time!
