Disneyland Small World Facade

Disneyland Small World Facade

thingiverse

It's a Small World attraction is one of my mom's favorite attractions. It is a "must do" each visit. The attraction debuted at the 1964 World's Fair in New York. This 16 piece model is only the very front of the Disneyland version of the ride. This is my first design. After watching my son design so many 2D Disney logos I thought it would be easy to learn SketchUp. I seriously underestimated how long it would take me to learn the program. It is like watching a professional skater. They make it look easy but until you get on the ice you don't realize how difficult it is. He really helped me with the bell and the ball in the bottom left section, the hour glass frame on the top right section and details in the face. Check out his Disney designs and other creations. https://www.thingiverse.com/B_Layne/designs This was created in SketchUp and printed with eSun PLA+. These models use a single extruder with pausing and switching to get the multiple colors, colors used are cool white, dark blue, light blue, gold, and gray. All files should be printed with a 0.4mm line width except the gold details should all be printed at 0.3mm line width.
