I built this diya emblem for my kids to share at school for diwali. They ended up hanging it on the door.

The model consists of 4 pieces.

3 of these are for the flame to make it multicolor. They stack in order (out→ middle → inner). I split them out to give the color variations in the fire. These pieces can be glued together if you have some super glue handy. I didn't so I used clear tape.

The base piece is for the base (duh). It has a raised design which can be printed in a different color [I use cura's post process extension for change filament].

The original model is around 100mm wide and 52mm tall. The height is around 1.6mm.

I printed the model by scaling it to 250%, I had to put it at 45% on the print bed to fit in the extended width [screenshot attached]. Please remember that while scaling , don ot scale the Z height. only X and Y should suffice.

I also added high tolerance flames for the folks who want to scale it, because the tolerance also multiplies when you scale and it leaves ugly gaps.

The printed model in the picture was printed using 0.6mm nozzle and 0.3 mm layer height. I used PETG and Silk PLA whichever color was available at the time.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or comments !

The inspriation of this model came from a bunch of images I saw on google search.
