this is version 2 of my DIY pan-tilt mechanism for an automatic sat dish. version 1 was driven by Nema 17 steppers but they had some disadvantages like the noise and the missing self-locking behavior for the horisontal axis. the 6V DC motors with the 35:1 gear ratio serve much better the purpose and the noise level is excellent. the dish is controlled by an arduino nano. the visualisation of the control is done by the RemotXY- app. all components of the control in your phone actually are part of the arduino code. So just upload the code to the arduino ,start the RemoteXY - app, connect via bluetooth to the HC-05 module that will show up in your phone. In the demo mode the app runs a limited time only,so you have to get a licensed version. the design is made in tinkercad - so the design is very basic but the function of the device was importend to me so i don't care much about rounded edges. the STL files are numbered since they are so many. The files 00 up to 04 are non printable and just show the parts in an assembled order. the source code for the arduino can be found in the " sat dish source code.txt " file. Some parts are still in german language .Sorry for that. Update 26.12.21 : Added a plug for the potmeter - adjustment hole and a gasket for the sat finder connectors. Both to be printed in TPU. The arduino source.txt cleared from some unused variables and some english comments and instructions added.
