My goal is to make relatively good quality cnc with the materials coming out from DVD or CD roms. I started from linear rail, which is the most important part for this cnc. I hope you will like it. After searching for some time trkmn017 user found his design. The design is well thought out. But the nail section is problematic and difficult to assemble. Tibuck's similar design has found that the idea of creating teeth with silicone or epoxy paste is very good. I combined the beautiful aspects of both designs. In addition, I put a piece ready for the nail that will hold onto the motor shaft. (Mil_holder.stl) You can use it with a simple bow. You can also try silicone or epoxy paste. I've added M3 holes to facilitate any installation. With the adapter, X and Y 2 linear rail can be assembled at desired distance. I've added holes for the mounting of the engine, but I'm not sure it will fit into a variety of stepper motors because it has one stepper motor. I sent the models to print. After installation, we will see whether the result and revision is needed.
