DIY Clamping System for CNC / Woodworking

This is my take on a clamping system for CNC and woodworking. I decided to create these after trying another design that failed to properly clamp the first piece of wood I tried. It is designed for use with a 7/8" drill bit (22.225mm) and a 3/4" thick spoilboard. The pegs are 22mm round and 18mm long, which gives a nice snug fit. The hole pattern should be 96mm or 3.75". Do not go above 100mm or there is a chance some pieces will not properly clamp! To drill the holes, I suggest checking out the Rockler JIG IT® Drill Guide (link: https://www.rockler.com/jig-it-drill-guide ) and using one of their 7/8" Long Shank Carbide Forstner Bits. I freehanded my spoilboard and can tell you I'll be redoing it with the drill guide here soon as several of mine were not so straight.. Also, to lay out the hole pattern, I suggest just drawing the intersections directly to your spoilboard. I tried a jig and it just couldn't hold up to the drill after several holes. Here are the clamping distances with the different sides of the fixed clamp running downwards and the variable clamp running across. +0mm = 5-25mm , 25-45mm , 45-65mm +10mm = 15-35mm , 35-55mm , 55-75mm +20mm = 25-45mm , 45-65mm , 65-85mm +30mm = 35-55mm , 55-75mm , 75-95mm +40mm = 45-65mm , 65-85mm , 85-105mm I have also uploaded SVG files for each design. These could be used to create the clamps with plastic on a CNC machine. Here is a breakdown of thicknesses: Fixed Clamp Total Height: 30mm Fixed Clamp Body: 12mm Fixed Clamp Peg: 18mm Variable Clamp Total Height: 12mm Variable Clamp Body: 12mm Clamp Handle Total Height: 36.2mm Clamp Handle Body: 6mm Clamp Handle Interface with Variable Clamp: 12.2mm Clamp Handle Peg: 18mm I am in hopes this helps someone out! I've been using this for several weeks now and have seen no issue with them being fully 3d printed. I did, however, use ABS with 4 perimeters along with a high infill.
