*** DISCLAIMER *** Do this AT YOUR OWN RISK, these are NOT TOYS! *** WARNING *** Altering a manufacturer part will void the warranty .22 caliber Gamo Gen2 Magazines are in short supply these days, and I've found a couple workarounds. First: Use a .22 Swarm Gen2 Inertia Mag The Swarm Gen2 Inertia magazines (Item Number: 621263754-01) are an exact fit in the Gen2 mechanism. They can be used un-altered by "flipping the red switch" between each shot. It's also possible to remove the "inertia" mechanism and it will behave like a non-inertia magazine. Second: Modify a .177 Swarm Gen2 Mag I tweaked the internal cylinder from thing:2751028 to work with a manufactured .177 caliber Gen2 Magazine. Stuff you need: 1. Gamo .177 Gen2 Magazine, they are occasionally available on Amazon at normal retail price. 2. 15/64 or 1/4 inch drill bit. Preferably a stepper that will smooth as it drills. Any drill bit that is 6-6.5mm will do. 3. Micrometer, not essential but handy. If you have a 3D Printer, you should have one of these anyway :). 4. Various cleanup tools, files, blades, sandpaper, etc. See above note. Parts Reference: Lying on a flat surface with holding screw up: Bottom = Thicker Piece, Top= Thin with guide pegs, Cylinder = Middle piece that rotates. Steps: 1. Print the thing, and cleanup. Make sure to smooth any rough edges. Smooth the individual pellet chambers so that a .22 pellet will pass through without obstruction. DO NOT remove the "triangle pip" on the top of the cylinder, it's required to function correctly. 2. Watch a youtube on how to disassemble/reassemble. 3. Disassemble your purchased .177 Caliber Gen2 Swarm Magazine. There is a spring inside so be careful. 4. Using drill bit, carefully enlarge the hole the pellet passes through on the BOTTOM piece. Verify hole in TOP is at least 6MM, if not drill that too. I didn't have to. 5. Reassemble without spring and check fit. Cylinder should move smoothly without catching. Check pellet fit by loading and manually ejecting pellets from each chamber. 6. Adjust as needed until it's operating smoothly. 7. Reassemble with spring (check youtube this bit is difficult to explain in text). 8. Optional: Put a mark (pen or paint) on the cylinder when it's empty so you'll know when you've used your last pellet.
