Initial sample of an old idea I had to use a bundle of wires to create a heatsink. Instructions This was made with 18 gauge aluminum wire, 1/4 inch aluminum plate and JB Weld (rated to 550F). Actual product should have the wires TIG welded to the base plate. Any size or length wire could be used, any size (or shape) base plate can be made. The wires can be shaped to conform to any needed form factor or fan/ducting system (if required). This has not been tested; intuition tells me it will work well.
