this is a remixes from Fan Duct v3 by thedayowl. i made it for 2 reasons: -first it offers me better results on overhangs on the 2 axis X and Y -second reason is for temperature control : since i change my nozzle for this one -which is really cheap and print really well- but head is 10.5mm height, and i had somme issues to control hot end temp as the fan duct was cooling the nozzle. For this reason it might not fit with original nozzles. it still use the mounting system from thedayowl, which is perfect as you can adjust the height of the duct. Print doesn't need any support but there are several bridges Edit 03/05/16: V.003 U-shape upgrade to have a more convergent air flow. need support V.004 Sewing-machine-socket shape it is V.003 upgrade to carry LEDs. It has a slot for 2 5050LED series connected and a cable path. You will also need a resistance between 550 and 650 Ohms. Need support. Edit 07/06/16 : V005 New version => V005 Whats new : -only 2 ducts -in 2 parts, which makes it easier to mount/unmount for cleaning/changing nozzle -more clearance = less risks of melt -MUCH BETTER AIR FLOW No support but need enough good bridge skills Horyzontal walls are 0.8mm thick => set a layer height that will fit (0.1, 0.16 or 0.2) Needs 2 M3*8mm screws and nuts Still a slot for 2 5050 leds Walter's PLA cooling tower test Walter's Overhang Test Print edit 07/2016 : happy w/ last version, not in progress anymore!
