I wanted a portable soldering iron and I found out 510 soldering iron tips so I decided to use an old vape mod (voopoo drag) to make one. parts list: 2m heat set inserts 2m screws 510 soldering irons tips -https://a.co/d/4SH8R4x 18650 batteries gold plated battery contacts -https://a.co/d/66lJvd9 so far works great and heats up in seconds! also once the button is released the iron starts cooling so less likey to burn yourself.
