DJI FC40 camera holder for Walkera gimbal

DJI FC40 camera holder for Walkera gimbal

I design this small holder for the original DJI camera from the Phantom FC40 so it can be attached to the Walkera G-2D gimbal... I was originally going to use the original support and fix it to the gimbal, but I have a 3D printer so why just cut and glue when I can create a new one!! Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: FolgerTech 2020 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Infill: 25% Post-Printing I used the M3 screws included on the gimbal kit to hold the bezel to the main body and SuperGlue (use the gel one) to attach the small lever to power on and off the camera and the supports that attach to the gimbal frame (you will require some cleaning of the holes before finish the assembly, to make it easy first set the support on the gimbal and then add some superglue and center the camera)... to remove the camera just use the holes on the back of the frame to push the camera out. If you read online you will find that a lot of people complain about the gimbal jerking and the need to add screws, batteries or something else to increase the weight at the end of the arm... I don't know if Walkera has updated the firmware of the controller or what other factors are involved but my unit starts and moves fine without need to add extra, I power the gimbal with a small 7.4 Lipo 800mha that is on top of the gimbal controler.
