DJI FPV Analog Goggle Mod

DJI FPV Analog Goggle Mod

I tried my hand at making an analog goggle mount for DJI FPV goggles. I wanted the mod to be able to take on and off easily for storage purposes. I also saw that most of the other files out are for V1 of the adapter board and not the V2. This model is for the V2 of the board, and that explains the cutout in the one side of the enclosure for the PCB and switch. This is the board I used https://www.racedayquads.com/products/analog-fpv-fatshark-module-adapter-for-dji-digital-fpv-goggles?variant=31203537453169 , it comes with necessary cables, just prints these parts and you're ready to go. The enclosure attaches on the right side of the goggles and quick slides in and out of the mount The enclosure (and the rest of the parts) was/were designed to be printed without the need for supports and are already in the proper orientation for printing. Several pieces will need to be cut away from the enclosure (v support, power switch support, adapter board retention knob supports, and the overhang layer for output power and signal cable outputs). All of the support pieces can be easily cut and pulled away with side cutters and pliers. The knobs seem like plenty to hold the adapter board in place, but there are holes for two M2x4mm screws to secure the board in the enclosure as well if you choose. After inserting the board with the switch first, slide the other side of the board down so the holes in the board fit over the knobs in the back of the enclosure. You can then fix the board down with the two screws. Please use needle nose pliers to grab the bolt holes to remove the adapter board, never by any of the connectors. Now slide the support on the knobs and you're good to insert your rapidfire module and put the lid on! Note that I use the outside row of pins on the adpater board for this design, not sure if the inside pins work as well, but the lid won't line up then.
