Original version was too thick and not properly rounded to fit in the charging hub. Also the use of XT60 pins which are too big was too concerning to me about damaging the battery contacts and cause later issues on the aircraft. This uses M3 screws (2.9mm, original connector is a 2.8mm straight pin) allowing proper insertion, and can be used with the charging hub thereby moving the potential wear/damage to a part that doesn't fly.
