I don't like removing the tiny controller sticks; I always seem to drop them. If you attempt to slide the controller into the Flymore case the sticks will get caught and perhaps get damaged. This protector will keep them secure when putting the controller into the case. I built in a small grip so the protector is easier to pull off. NOTE: I had to use a round file to open the holes just slightly but this gave me a perfect fit. I hope this helps someone!
