DJI Osmo Pocket Tripod Mount / Cover / Stand

<p>When I bought my Osmo Pocket, I found an awesome combination stand / tripod mount here on Thingiverse. It is a great idea, but I don't want to carry a stand<em>AND</em> a case for my Osmo Pocket. I hate cases, but you can't just let the gimbal flop around in your pocket, and what good is an Osmo Pocket that you can't carry in your pocket?!</p> <p>This case is about as minimal as I could manage. You angle the gimbal of the Osmo Pocket a bit, slide it into the top of the protector, and rotate it into plate where it will just snap in. Taking the gimbal out is as simple as holding the base of the Osmo and pushing down on the "clip" with your thumb.</p> <p>The "bottom" of the mount is flat and relatively large. You can just put the Osmo Pocket back (most of the way) into the case in the opposite direction, and you can use the case as a stand for taking motion timelapses or just for recording video.</p> <p>The base of the stand has a 1/4-20 tripod thread, too.</p> <p>I know it looks simple and square, but it does its three jobs quite well for me!</p> Category: Camera
