UPDATE: This may occur jello (rolling shutter) effect on very sunny day. My another solution is http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:890374 body sun shade. On sunny day avoid halation caused by the sun out of the field of view. Especially effective to avoid flicker by shadow of rotating props. This work (version 4) is inspired by DanHamilton's original work http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:825988. Designed by OpenScad, model repaired by Microsoft Model Repair Service. Instructions Designed as light as possible (2.3g ABS made), because heavier hood causes "gello effect" on video (that is, vibration of gimbal). This version is almost OK, but may also causes slight gello effect in conditions (wind, fly/ascend/descend speed, prop balance, etc.). I cut off the lower half not to interfere with the gimbal guard when most down (mine is hand made of bamboo... :-) ), and OK when calibrating gimbal, but better take it out when you turn on the bird's power. I take off the lens cap (also Dan's http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:817551), turn on power, and put this hood after calibration. No fixing but OK, maybe ABS shrinks and be tighter than designed. If you think it's too loose, use vinyl tape or mending tape. The hood is very FOV tight (94 degree). On my printer, ABS tends to shrink a bit terribly, but don't affect to the view. The hag arm part is very fragile, use a cylinder (31.5mm dia x 20.5mm depth) to protect when not in use.
