The design is finished. I don't think I will be changing anything else. I have printed all the parts and they now seem to fit nicely. If any of have any issues let me know. Dji phantom style quadcopter Shell / frame. Now you can print the lighter arms and bottom shell and cut around 100 grams. Changes made to make it lighter and easier to put together. This quad is printable on a standard 200 mm by 200 mm print bed. It is a work in progress. The battery cover is forthcoming. I would love some input form all of you on any design modifications or ideas. There are thin round supports under the round hole in the top shell that need to be snapped out after printing. The motor mounts are based on common 19 mm by 16 mm motor mounts. The battery bay has 6 mounting holes for rails or gimbal. The bottom is thick enough to drill and mount landing gear, I am using retractable gear when they come in. it looks like the weight of the frame is around 260 grams to 300 grams depending on your print settings you use. I designed a large battery bay for large mah batteries. The battery bay is 32mm by 47mm by 145mm. It will take 5200 mah Walkera x350 pro style batteries with the extended battery bay. There is built in support under the round part on the top shell that need to be snapped out once you finish printing. So There is no need for support material for the battery bay, bottom shell or cap. You do however need support for the top shell, I did print one with out support but I would not advise that unless your printer is tuned like a Steinway. The arms can be screwed together or supper glued if you are using pla, witch I recommend, or both. Then drill the bottom using the hole in the arm as a guide and glue the arm into the bottom with super glue
