DK's Filament Dry box

DK's Filament Dry box

So, I always store all my filament other than ABS in a dry box and when I saw this container at Walmart I figured it would work for holding a spool after a few designs. And all I had was a dry box. It has an option to use a cotton ball or two for filament cleaner oiler as I always use one on my filaments. You can use the center part with 608 bearings if you'd like, of a simple piece of PVC pipe will work... I use both. It's set up for 9 M3 bolts; I think they were 6mm long, but not 100% sure... I tapped the holes in the printed parts. Print two of each part except the template... I've been told the bearing shaft is about 2mm too long, so you might want to scale it down a little in whatever direction you place it. I tend to just use a piece of PVC pipe cut to fit. Also, you might want to tape the holes in the container after drilling to make putting it together easier.
