DMT Duosharp Knife sharping jig

DMT Duosharp Knife sharping jig

I never liked the stock holder of the DMT DuoSharp. Therefore I built a new one. The jig contains a few 3D printed parts and a wooden base. With the help of four 608ZZ ball bearings the sled slides smoothly through the 5mm deep lanes. I milled the lanes with my small Makita router (DRT50Z). For the wood I used leftover multiplex. The DMT Duosharp diamond plates are mounted on top of another 18mm high multiplex wooden support. I used M3 knurled thread nuts for fixing the plate holders. The sled has an angle of 20° which I use for all of my kitchen knifes. The Fusion360 file is attached.
