Banshee Rune V3 Rear Fender

Banshee Rune V3 Rear Fender

This is not my design. This is a design that Banshee provide on their homepage so riders can cut their own rear fender. Having a rear fender on the Rune V3 is a very good idea because all of the rear linkage bearings are directly exposed to flying mud and water. Using the drawing provided by Banshee, I copied the exact design, but had to make one small change so the part could fit on my print bed (A large chamfer instead of the 20mm radius). Still, this is a tight fit on my Prusa i3. You have to print without skirt and rotate the part so that it fits from corner to corner. Because of the orientation, I recommend changing the fill angle to 0°. The part thickness is 0,8 mm which means 3 printed layers for a layer height of 0.3 mm with a first layer thickness of 0.2 mm, or 4 layers for a 0.2 mm layer height. I tried a thicker shell but it ends up being very hard to bend in shape. Feel free to scale in Z if you want.
