Love dTom's charger design, but wanted it a little lower down, so made a slight remix, chopping 1 centimeter out of the post. dTom's charger cut out fit perfectly -- firmly seated and snug, but not too much of a hassle to remove. Even the cord channel is snug enough to hold the factory cable through a tight corner without the zip tie. I decided to print in ABS, so was nervous about the supports mucking up the base, so I printed sideways, on the post, so that the only support was going across behind where the charger sits -- worked pretty well, except my slicer and I both forgot to add some support for the front left round edge (or to square it off), so that got a little munged up. Updated with v2: Making the charger shorter left less room for the watch band to curl back. The band on the TWP is happy to go straight back, but the lip on the stand aimed it down, so it was getting gently bent at the bottom. My v2 is just a few mm taller, and includes a cutout at the bottom which lets the band head straight back and also makes it easier to pull the charger out, e.g. when I'm taking it on the road. I also plugged the zip tie holes (dTom's design fit perfectly without the need) and tweaked things to print sideways with a minimum of support. My concern now with this design is strength, I'm worried my cutout, combined with the sideways print, makes for weak resistance to horizontal tension from the charger -- so far so good though.
