DNM USD-8 Fork Fender Mount

DNM USD-8 Fork Fender Mount

This mount will allow you to mount a front fender easily to the DNM fork. This mount will only work with forks that have 109mm of spacing in between the stanchions (tubes). You will need 6mm nuts and bolts or if in a pinch, you could use zip ties. The nice thing about this mount is that you can place it anywhere on the stanchions tubes so that even if you didn't want to mount a fender, you could mount a light to it. The mount also helps reduce twisting in the stanchions as well. This is the fender I ended up using with the mount. I designed the mount to cradle the bracket which is 22mm wide. You could use another style fender of your choice. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HP3VGBG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 As for printing, I used carbon fiber PLA and it has worked well in supporting the fender. I also print using full supports. When installing the mount on the forks, it will almost snap into place and you might have to use a little force to lock it in since my design has tight tolerances. As for the clamps, I designed them to be .5 mm smaller than the stanchions so that when you place the locking bolt on them, there will be some tension.
