Docking Station VESA mount plate

This is a makeshift VESA mount plate compatible with the Targus DOCK190 docking station and similar models. The docking station must have 2 screw holes on the back spaced apart by 62.5 mm in order to be compatible with this mount plate. You must find/buy your own screws (from my measurements, the dock seems to require M2.5 screws, but don't quote me on it). Installation: I recommend using 2 pieces of shelf liner so the PLA doesn't scratch the rubber on the bottom of the dock. The easiest method I found was to set up the screws and shelf liner on the mount plate first, and then hold the dock against the screws and use a screwdriver to secure it in. Don't overtighten it or it will crack the plastic (it does not need to be super tight since the shelf liner will compress slightly which will hold the dock in place). I printed this in PLA and so far it has held up well with the dock attached to the back of my monitor. Results may vary, so use this at your own risk. The attached stl files actually use unnecessary PLA in printing since you don't really need the stuff hanging off the right side of the mounting holes. Feel free to edit the attached FreeCAD file to get rid of the extra on the side. NOTE: I am not liable for any damage that may occur to your dock or other property due to the usage of this mount plate. By printing and/or using this mount plate, you agree that you are taking the risk of using something that may potentially break or be unsuitable for usage in your situation/environment. If you require something durable to mount your dock to, please purchase the official Targus ACX003GLZ VESA mount plate which is made of metal.
