I got my son this Marvel Legends Doctor Octopus collectable figure: https://www.amazon.com/Spider-Man-Legends-6-inch-Doc-Ock/dp/B077BHKFFG He loves Doc Ock, but of course wants to play with it. It wasn't really made for playing. The tentacles don't stay in the body well, and also don't move at all and so aren't very fun. We tried gluing them in, but then the pegs just snapped off. We even tried taping them on, but nothing really worked. So, 3D printer to the rescue, I decided to make a a set of tentacles based off of some of the awesome sea creatures I've seen around here. I ended up mashing up a cuttlefish with an incredibly detailed Doc Ock statue (I just took the claw) and a Spiderman webshooter, which had a nice belt loop on it. The end result is a "backpack" you can strap on using a nylon hook-and-loop cable organizer. I think it looks pretty great, and it's 100 times more fun to play with. He absolutely loved it, so I thought I'd share it on the off chance anyone else has this figure and wants to make it more fun to play with.
