These pedals show up on Ebay all the time without battery covers. I designed this model and posted it on Shapeways for purchase a few years ago. The design is tailored to get a good spring action when printed in Shapeways strong and flexible (nylon) plastic. I have not yet optimized the design for FDM printing. So please consider this a work in progress. The spring clip will be more durable if the model is printed tipped up along the side but will require supports for the spring and a brim at the small base.
