####Dodecahedral Cups A local elementary school (Lewis) invited me to showcase 3D design and printing for a large group of young children on their "Discovery Day." I need some designs that are interesting and funny-looking to children, yet mathematically appealing. I thought of the dodecahedron, which I manipulated a bit to entertain the children. They look nice and are easy to print. I think others might be interested in tinkering with them. So here they are. Among the Files 0.The measurement (30mm, 20mm) refers to the circum-radius of a face pentagon. 1. Dodecahedral cup with a handle. 2. Dodecahedral cup with a handle plus an integrated straw. 3. Dodecahedral cup with a twisted neck (10mm) 4. Dodecahedral cup with a long twisted neck (30mm). 5. Three cups have "Lewis" on them. Printing PLA filament works well. Flexible TPU can be used to make a flexible cup.
